Community Pharmacist Consultation Service

NHS Community Pharmacist Consultation Service (CPCS) is a service used to facilitate patients having a same day appointment with their community pharmacist for minor illness or an urgent supply of a regular medicine, improving access to services and providing more convenient treatment closer to patients’ homes.

When you speak to our care co-ordinators they may offer you a booked consultation with an experienced pharmacist who will be able to offer you same day advice and, if necessary, a prescription for certain conditions. Should the patient need to be escalated or referred to an alternative service, the pharmacist can arrange this.
